Part II — Accessibility Statement
Our commitment. Aureus Foundations is committed to providing a website experience that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to design, build, and maintain our digital content in line with current recognized standards for accessibility and usability across modern browsers and assistive technologies.
Conformance target. We strive to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance for our primary pages and templates. Accessibility is a process: we continuously audit and improve our sites as content and technology evolve.
Measures we take. We seek to:
- Integrate accessibility requirements into design, development, and content workflows.
- Provide text alternatives for non-text content; maintain sufficient color contrast; support keyboard navigation; avoid content that flashes or causes seizures.
- Use semantic HTML and appropriate ARIA where needed.
- Provide captions/transcripts for time-based media we publish.
- Conduct periodic audits, including manual testing with assistive technologies.
- Train staff and use procurement practices that favor accessible tools.
Compatibility. Our Services are intended to work with current versions of major desktop and mobile browsers and commonly used assistive technologies. Some older browsers or non-standard environments may not fully support accessibility features.
Known limitations and third-party content. While we control most content, some third-party components (e.g., embedded videos, maps, social widgets) are not fully within our control and may have accessibility gaps. Where feasible, we will offer an alternative (e.g., a direct link, transcript, or contact path for assistance).
Preferences and saved settings. If you use accessibility or preference features (e.g., text size, contrast), your selections may be stored so we can honor them on return visits. These preference records are typically retained for 12 months.
